All my paintings are "side finished."
A side-finished painting has the sides painted to give the piece a sculptural feel. It’s ready to hang without a frame for a contemporary look. For a more traditional presentation, I recommend a floating frame so that the image is not impeded by an overlapping frame. Above is a view of my yellowlegs painting showing how the sides are finished.
