Good Hope Mill on the Conodoguinet creek

Good Hope Mill on the Conodoguinet creek

$99.00Price

This is a Fine art print of my original watercolor of the Dam pool at Good Hope Mills on the Conodoguinet creek before the mill dam was removed. This watercolor was done after art school, in 1983. I clearly remember painting it in the shadows of a large Sycamore tree. My father and I fished the Conodoguinet creek for nearly all my youth and young adult life, and the Good Hope Mill pool shown in the painting in particular. Before I was born, he grew up fishing it with his brother Glenn, and again after he returned from his service in Korea. The dam was removed awhile ago, but my memories of wading below the mill and catching many smallmouth bass, rock bass (google eyes), and an occasional small muskie remain.

Printed with archival inks on Sunset Hot Press Smooth Bright White 300g. It’s an acid-free 100% cotton fine art paper with a smooth surface that is ideal for dynamic, detailed prints.
